Hi, I’m Maria Whittaker, Website and Book Designer and Content Creator!

Coffee is my passion; no morning is complete without Jesus and coffee.

My family is my greatest treasure. I married my best friend, and I am a mom to five children and have homeschooled them for almost 19 years! I love spending time with them and serving them. We live in a small town in the beautiful Smoky Mountains in North Carolina. Before moving to North Carolina, my family served as missionaries in four countries. I’ve had the privilege of meeting beautiful people, teaching them about Jesus, and learning so much from them.

As a designer and content creator, I love witnessing the sheer excitement of clients when they see their final product. Collaborating with them brings me immense joy, turning their vision into a tangible reality. Knowing I play a small but significant role in their future success is truly fulfilling and drives my passion for creating exceptional websites and content.

I’m thrilled to be a part of MRM and eagerly look forward to serving in any way I can, utilizing my gifts and talents to create websites and content that our clients will love, and helping them turn their dreams into reality.

Her Recent Projects & Experience

With nearly two decades of experience in the field, I have established a solid foundation in web design and content creation. My journey began when I combined my background in network technologies with a passion for web design while working for my church in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This opportunity allowed me to learn new skills and develop a deep understanding of creating captivating online experiences. After a few years, I ventured into project management for a non-profit organization in New Haven, CT, where I expanded my skills by incorporating project management principles and mastering tools like Adobe Dreamweaver.

In 2009, my family embarked on a mission to live overseas, and for several years, I had the privilege of utilizing my web design skills and leveraging social media to support the ministry. Witnessing how technologies have evolved over the years has been an exhilarating experience. Rather than considering it a chore, I genuinely enjoy staying abreast of new technologies and embracing their potential. As a true techie at heart, technology has become my love language, motivating me to continually learn, adapt, and apply emerging trends and tools in my work.

This rich background and extensive journey in web design have equipped me with a profound understanding of the industry, a diverse skill set, and an unwavering enthusiasm for incorporating cutting-edge technologies into my projects.
