MRM: Our Vision for 2022

It’s a new year and we are excited! We believe that God is up to something big in 2022. Before we look forward though, we’d like to take a moment to look back. 2020 was the year of Covid, and it brought so many challenges for small businesses. Our business was no exception. Throughout 2020, we reevaluated almost every aspect of our services list and looked for opportunities to productize some things to make them more affordable for those who were also affected by Covid. As a result, we had the privilege of launching three of our StartUp Website packages and setting up or optimizing five eCommerce stores for clients launching online businesses into the world.

Our Refining Year

As 2021 began, we were all ready for a reset and a fresh start. Early in the year, God began sowing seeds of “holy unsettling” and we knew change was coming. Taking a tremendous leap of faith, we followed God’s leading and rebranded MRM, using the word He had given us for the next phase of business. Mandy Roberson Media became Market Refined Media, and 2021 was definitely a year of refining for us. Lest you think the process of rebranding a business is a smooth ride, let’s just say we had our fair share of hiccups along the way, addressing all the legal and financial steps during Covid staff shortages and delays.

We claimed the word REFINED for our rebrand and for the year, and in the months since, God has continued to refine us – our team, our services, our partners, and our vision. Part of the refining process for us in 2021 included some unexpected shifts in our team along with challenges with larger projects on our schedule for the year. Through each challenge, there was a purpose, and it brought us to the next good thing He had in store for us, and we are grateful. Here are the statistics from 2021, our refining year:

  • 10 new website designs
  • 7 brand designs
  • 6 new eStores, courses or memberships
  • 6 marketing campaigns
  • 5 print design projects
  • 4 publishing projects
  • 9 new associates
  • 3 new team members

Our Vision for 2022

Simply put, our vision for 2022 is to refine who we are and what we do. We will be creative in the ways we serve, ensuring there are options for all our clients, no matter where they are in the process. We will continue to establish, enhance, and expand. God has called us to something higher, and we will continue to follow His steps as He makes them clear to us.

New This Year

In the past several years, we’ve had the honor of partnering with independent authors in a variety of ways. It has been our pleasure to be able to say “yes” when others might have said “no” to sharing the message on an author’s heart. Expanding our long list of services for self-publishing authors, we have launched our own publishing imprint this year – Market Refined Publishing! We are so excited to see this dream come to fruition and will share more on this really soon!
