We love a good deal as much as anyone, and since so many of the traditional Black Friday and Cyber Week deals have dropped early this year, we thought we’d share! There are great deals for technology for those of you who need to upgrade your devices, and deals for software, life and project management tools, and so much more. We’ll highlight a few of our favorites today, but be sure to check back over the next week or so – we will keep updating this page as some new deals release or old ones expire. Happy Shopping!
When it comes to sharing your words with the world, it’s important to know what publishing option is best for you. Be it traditional publishing, hybrid publishing, or self-publishing, each comes with its own pros and cons. Each option is fluid and ever-changing, all based on a variety of factors. Let’s look at a snapshot of the different publisher types to help you make an informed decision for what is right for you and your book.
Melissa Mashburn is a “Jill of all trades” and has spent the better part of her adult life in some form of ministry or marketing role, or both at the same time. When Melissa joined our team a few years ago, we began chatting about an idea she had for a book on godly friendships. But, when Melissa actually began writing this manuscript, God changed the direction of her words and message, and the end result was a beautiful, deeply heartfelt guidebook for women leaders in ministry.
“Hey, congratulations on your new book!” said no stranger ever.
Books, websites, and podcasts don’t just magically appear in people’s social media feeds. New projects are strategically planned and placed so that readers and listeners will find them. Whether you are a nationally-known author or a first-time blogger people find your content because you have a well-thought-out plan.
This Too Shall Pass is first-time author Kaitlyn Scott’s personal story of her journey with chronic illness. In the book, she shares encouragement through the lessons God has taught her on this journey, along with real, raw struggles and tests of her faith. Working with such personal “works of heart” are as rewarding as they are delicate, and our team does our very best to handle both the manuscript and the author with care throughout the entire publishing process.
Publishing a client’s message or story is always exciting for our team. Add to that the pleasure of working with not one, but two authors who happen to be sweet sisters and who have worked on this story for over seven years, and it immediately feels like an overwhelming (and fun!) privilege to be a part of their journey. Market Refined Publishing worked with authors Maureen Hartson and Shannon Coe to publish their first Christian fantasy novel this summer, and we couldn’t be more thrilled!
