Sandra Peoples is a repeat client for MRM, and it’s always such a pleasure to partner with her. Sandra is a tremendous advocate and asset for the special needs community. With her growing platform, it became necessary for Sandra to redesign and restructure her website in a way that would make all of her resources and training readily available to the church ministries and families who need them. We thoroughly enjoyed helping create this new online space that will serve so many!
About This Recent Project
Brand Planning & Development
We worked with Sandra to determine the best way to organize her content and create two pathways in the new website, to serve her two audiences. We crafted one landing page specifically for churches with special needs ministries who are looking to expand or improve their programs, and another page that offers the information and guidance to walk special needs families through the phases of life with a diagnosis.
Brand & Website Design
It was important to Sandra that the design for her special needs ministry be unique and inclusive, not necessarily following the “known” symbols that often represent it. Since her ministry is geared toward special needs kids in particular, she wanted it to be fun and colorful.
A ball pit can often be an important part of a special needs ministry, so we incorporated that idea into her logo design. We then carried that whimsical idea into the website design as well, adding splashes of the fun design details to all key pages. We refreshed Sandra’s About page to showcase her professional bio and to highlight a few of the online spaces her articles have been featured.
The last addition to Sandra’s project was our SEO Jumpstart. We optimized all of the new site’s pages, adding the keywords, headings, and calls to action where appropriate. We set up the new site in Google Analytics and The Search Console and submitted her sitemap to all search engines.
We have enjoyed seeing the feedback as Sandra’s followers explore her new online home!
