As a coach, counselor, writer, and speaker Tammy Gustafson wanted to establish a safe and welcoming online space for her many service offerings. Specializing in betrayal healing, it was important for Tammy to be able to reach more women with her message of hope and healing, build a platform for speaking events, and promote her coaching and counseling. Tammy is also an aspiring author, so we wanted to be sure we created a space that could grow with her and function as a strong foundation for her writing and marketing efforts.

Brand and Logo Design
Brand identity is a journey of discovery. Even though Tammy came into her brand design process with a pretty clear sense of what she wanted, it was important to walk her through the brand design process. So often we find the process itself reveals new ideas and clients get inspired in new ways. We were able to help Tammy refine her color palette and choose fonts that conveyed the strong, yet feminine mood she was going for. Tammy wanted her logo design to have a simple look and to use her initials as a sub-logo on her site, as well.
Website Design and Development
Tammy envisioned a clean and welcoming look for her site design. Since Tammy “wears a lot of hats”, it was important to be able to showcase the different services she offers in a clear way. She chose to highlight her coaching/counseling, speaking, and Paris retreats on her home page, so visitors could easily find what they were looking for.
We added areas of interest to her pages by using parallax background images to create an illusion of depth on a two-dimensional site for a more dynamic look. We also used a mix of carefully curated stock photos and Tammy’s own professional, branded photos on the site design to establish a welcoming and encouraging mood.
Author One-Sheet
Tammy is writing her first book, so she also hired us to design an author one-sheet for the book proposal. A one-sheet is a single page pitch that dynamically includes important information about the book and author. The hope is that the one-sheet will help hook an agent or editor.
