Accessible-Church.com is the official site for Sandra Peoples’ latest release, Accessible Church: A Gospel-Centered Vision for Including People with Disabilities and Their Families. More than that, it’s a hub for ministry leaders and church staff who are ready to move from good intentions to practical, gospel-rooted action. The site serves as a thoughtful extension of Sandra’s overall ministry and message: every church can be an accessible church—with the right vision, tools, and heart.
With decades of personal and professional experience in the world of disability inclusion, Sandra is a wealth of compassion and information when it comes to equipping churches for disability ministry. She needed an online home for this new book and the valuable resources she has paired with it. Accessible-Church is that home, and we were honored to help bring it to life.
About This Recent Project
Sitemap & Content Planning
The sitemap for this new website was based on the eight chapters of Accessible Church. We included a Home page that provided an overview of the site, book, and Sandra’s platform, leading visitors through the benefits of the new release and providing a way for them to connect with Sandra’s disability ministry newsletter. The sales page for the book served as the “about” page of the new site, rounding out this simple sitemap. Mandy and Sandra worked together quickly to organize the necessary content for each page, ensuring each chapter page included a relevant video interview between Sandra and a special guest as well as valuable links and resources.
Website Design and Development
We designed the website with Sandra’s message at the center, ensuring every element reflected her heart for equipping churches to love and serve disability families well. From the moment you land on the site, clear navigation and warm, welcoming imagery help guide visitors through the “why” and “how” of building a truly accessible church. Each page mirrors a chapter of Sandra’s book, allowing the site to serve not only as a digital companion to the content but also as a standalone ministry resource. Visitors are invited to explore key themes like a theology of disability, whole-family inclusion, and actionable next steps toward fostering a more inclusive congregation.
The design elements, including fonts and colors, were inspired by the book’s cover art and Sandra’s established ministry brand, keeping everything perfectly on brand and seamlessly cohesive with her existing platform. All stock imagery was chosen with care to reflect the diversity and dignity of those this ministry serves, ensuring that families of all abilities feel seen, valued, and welcomed.
The end result is a beautiful website that not only communicates the expertise Sandra provides, but also invites visitors into a greater mission: one where every church can become a place of belonging. One where no one is left out of the story.
We’re incredibly honored to have partnered with Sandra on Accessible Church and are confident that this project will equip and inspire countless churches and families for years to come.
