We first partnered with Shannon Dvorak earlier this year for a full brand and website design, helping her build a digital home to steward her teaching and ministry. So when Shannon came back to us ready to bring her first two Bible studies into the world, we couldn’t have been more honored to walk alongside her into this next chapter.

Shannon Dvorak is a Bible teacher and writer passionate about equipping women to study Scripture for themselves and apply biblical truth to everyday life. With a deep love for God’s Word and a gift for practical, grace-filled teaching, she creates resources that encourage spiritual maturity, thoughtful faith, and confident obedience. Shannon speaks and writes as a fellow learner, walking alongside women as they pursue deeper faith, peace, and purpose.

About This Recent Project

Shannon’s two new releases are the first titles in her Nourish Bible Study Guides series: Galatians: Gospel of Freedom, a 13-week study of grace, freedom, and life in the Spirit, and Ephesians: The Riches of His Grace, a 6-week study of identity, unity, and life in Christ. Both studies use Shannon’s B.R.E.A.D. method—Background, Read, Examine, Apply, and Display—to help readers slow down, study Scripture in its context, and apply what they learn, whether individually or in a group.

Galatians: Gospel of Freedom

Galatians: Gospel of Freedom is a 13-week Bible study designed for individuals or small groups. Using the B.R.E.A.D. method, this guide will help you study Scripture carefully, understand the historical context of Paul’s letter, and apply the truth of the gospel to your own life.

Shannon came to us ready to self-publish these studies under her own name and author brand, so our role was to come alongside her with the proofreading, design, and technical support she needed to bring both books to life, using her own KDP account.

Manuscript Prep & Proofreading

Before either study was ready for design, Milena formatted both completed manuscripts in Word documents and gave both docs a careful final proofread. During the manuscript edits, Milena ensured strong readability and accurate Scripture citations, and then collaborated with Shannon for design notes to help Nelly layout the study guide prompts for readers.

Cover and Interior Design & Typesetting

Nelly then developed the full design package for each book, including the print cover, print interior, and eBook files, all formatted for Kindle Direct Publishing. Shannon came to the design phase with a clear vision of mountain imagery and a palette of blues, greens, and warm tans or terra cottas pulled straight from her brand. Nelly took that inspiration and designed unique print covers and fully formatted interiors for both studies, sized for a 7×10 trim with black-and-white interiors and a matte finish, ready for Kindle Direct Publishing.

Mia, one of our newest team members, performed our post-design proof to be sure that all of the final content and and design details were ready to go.

Publishing & Optimization

As an add-on to our self-publishing services, Mandy performed abbreviated metadata research for both titles, to develop optimized keywords and product categories for each Amazon listing, giving both books their best opportunity for discoverability and reach. She also set up and optimized Shannon’s Amazon Author Central profile.

From there, we served as Shannon’s virtual assistant and tech support through each step of publishing in KDP, ensuring each book was uploaded, formatted, and released properly. We used KDP’s scheduling feature for the print products and set the Kindle versions for preorder so both formats of both products could publish on the same day.

Galatians: Gospel of Freedom and Ephesians: The Riches of His Grace are the first two studies in what we hope will be a long line of Nourish Bible Study Guides. We loved getting to support Shannon in this next season of her ministry, and we can’t wait to see how these studies nourish women in their walk with God.
