Shannon Dvorak was a previous MRM client several years ago, but opted some time ago to spend a season offline and let her old blog go. When she came back to us recently, Shannon wasn’t rushing to build a platform or launch new products. Instead, she was ready to steward the teaching, writing, and ministry God had been shaping in her life for years. Our role was to help her translate that calling into a brand and website that was welcoming, aligned with her heart, and ready to support her ministry growth.
The result is a digital home designed to equip women to move forward by faith—one thoughtful step at a time. Her new online home at shannondvorak.com is warm and inviting, and establishes Shannon as the seasoned teacher and spiritual mentor she is.
About This Recent Project
Shannon is a Bible teacher and writer with a clear calling to come alongside women who have walked with Christ for some time, yet still feel spiritually stuck, uncertain, or hungry for deeper understanding. Her passion is to encourage and equip women to study Scripture for themselves and apply biblical truth to everyday life. Shannon teaches from the posture of a fellow learner, and that approach needed to be seen through every part of her brand and website.
Our hope with this new design was to create a space that felt grounded, calming, and inspiring.
Content and Sitemap Planning
A key first step in all new brand developments is to begin with the heart and message behind the brand. Using our brand and website roadmap worksheet, Mandy worked with Shannon to clarify her messaging, necessary sitemap, and long-term direction. Together, we identified Shannon’s voice and desired focus for the new website and shaped the structure to support blogging, teaching, speaking, and resources.
We collaboratively planned the home page so that it would serve as a landing page for all of Shannon’s current offerings, along with room for her future growth and additions. The About page content provided personal insight into Shannon’s life and family, shared fun facts to help new visitors get to know her, and established her desire to teach and mentor other women.
Honoring Shannon’s calling to expand her teaching to women’s events and other ministry opportunities, we prioritized a professional Speaking page that included suggested speaking topics, her official bio and media kit, and endorsements from previous engagements.
Brand Design
Once the website content was set, the next step was to begin the visual elements of the brand. Carol brought the brand design to life by thoughtfully creating an identity kit and style guide that beautifully reflects Shannon’s teaching voice and ministry values.
To give us a strong starting point, Shannon provided clear and specific direction through Pinterest boards and examples of textures and the overall mood she envisioned. Throughout the initial moodboards and concepts, Shannon was engaged, responsive, and generous with her feedback, which helped Carol move forward with ease and confidence in the design direction.
The resulting brand design is clean and modern, yet warm and inviting. A nature-inspired color palette of soft greens, warm neutrals, and clay tones creates a sense of peace and steadiness, while subtle mid-tones keep the overall feel light and contemporary. Organic textures such as fabric, wood, and woven elements were layered strategically throughout the design, reinforcing the grounded, approachable tone of the brand. Handwritten script accents are balanced with clean, readable typography, while layered textures add depth without distraction.
The completed brand identity kit included primary and secondary logos, sub marks and a brand board, along with Canva templates Shannon can use to keep her online presence consistent and recognizable across all platforms.
Website Design and Development
The completed website content and confirmed style guide gave Hallie the tools she needed to begin with the website design. Hallie’s goal for the design was to create a welcoming digital space that feels easy to navigate and successfully guides visitors forward without pressure or overwhelm.
By incorporating organic textures, nature-inspired imagery, and subtle overlays that echoed the foliage in her logo, the website design developed into a cohesive extension of the brand itself. Custom icons and intentionally designed resource elements added a personal yet professional touch, supporting Shannon’s long-term vision to serve women thoughtfully and well.
From the moment you land on the homepage, the message is clear and steady: Equipping Women to Move Forward by Faith. The layout offers intentional visual pathways to Shannon’s blog, Bible studies and resources, and speaking ministry. A warm, personal introduction establishes trust immediately, while thoughtfully placed calls to action invite visitors to keep reading, stay connected, or explore resources when they’re ready. Even the email sign-up is framed as encouragement rather than obligation.
The About page continues that same thoughtful pacing. While Shannon initially considered more formal headshots, she trusted our guidance to lead with more casual, approachable imagery, establishing relational warmth from the very first scroll. Family-forward visuals and honest storytelling work together to highlight both her faith journey and her personality, resulting in a page that feels deeply sincere.
The Speaking page brought the strategized content to life in a well-organized format that will serve future event planners well and allow Shannon to build her speaking and teaching resume over time. The Resources page clearly offers many of Shannon’s recommended books and podcasts for growing in faith and knowledge of the Bible, and also includes the on-brand PDF resources Hallie and Mandy designed for the project. The Studies page introduces the first bible study authored by Shannon while highlighting her blog and free downloads too. And an inviting Contact page rounds out the sitemap, completing this thoughtful and intentional new website.
Each piece came together with care, intention, and respect for Shannon’s calling and pace. The end result provides a calm, trustworthy space for women seeking biblical truth, clarity, and encouragement. It supports Shannon’s teaching ministry and creates room for faithful growth.
We are honored to have partnered with Shannon in this season and look forward to watching her ministry continue to unfold.
