MRM Project Feature: Christy Williams Brand & Website Redesign

Christy Williams is a Bible teacher, devotional writer, speaker, and encourager with a simple mission: to invite women to exchange overwhelm for peace, hopelessness for confidence, and weariness for Spirit-filled rest. Her ministry invites women into the truth and power of Scripture through everyday moments, Bible teaching, and vulnerable encouragement.

A long-time client of MRM, Christy contacted us to share that her older website and brand no longer reflected her message or ministry direction. The design felt outdated and visually heavy, and she was ready for a complete refresh—one that felt clean, simple, and timeless. We were honored to create a space that brings new energy to her message while preserving the warmth and heart that define her voice.

Her new online home at christywilliams.org is the perfect blend of softness and clarity, with thoughtful structure and beautiful flow throughout each page.

About This Recent Project

From the beginning, Christy had a strong sense of purpose, but she needed help shaping that into a website and brand that felt organized, impactful, and scalable. We knew her new online home needed to be as vibrant and grounded as she is.

We partnered with Christy to redesign her brand and website as she stepped into a new season and evolution of her ministry. The new design supports her writing, speaking, and encouragement and provides space to grow as her platform and audience expand. The design is clear and dynamic, echoing the way Christy teaches: with warmth, confidence, and depth.

Brand Design

When we began the steps of creating Christy’s new visual elements, she had not yet considered the color palettes or overall feel of the new design. We prompted a few Pinterest searches to see what palettes and styles consistently caught her eye, and those initial “pins” were the start of our mood board for the project. Christy also wanted a very simple logo and brand design, one that would be versatile in many uses and would help all of her assets feel a bit more like her. The mood board helped us narrow down the font styles and color options in preparation for the logo design.

After a design planning call and a review of Christy’s new professional photos, Erin presented several different logo concepts for review, offering both a primary and secondary option for each. Christy was able to choose her favorite quickly, which then allowed us to move through slight revisions and the rest of the brand kit items efficiently.

The completed brand design features a soft, earthy palette of blush, plum, and neutral tones as a warm and welcoming visual foundation. Christy’s main logo pairs an elegant script with a modern sans-serif font, blending personal grace with clarity. Erin also created logo variations and a simple “CW” submark for flexible use across digital and print platforms. The overall brand feel is timeless and reflective of who Christy is and all that she brings to her online platform.

Website Design and Development

We created a fresh WordPress site that brings together Christy’s blog, devotional, speaking ministry, and resources into one accessible, responsive hub. The navigation, layout, and flow were all carefully planned to keep the user journey intuitive while supporting future updates and expansions.

The website design mirrors the softness and simplicity of her brand. Built on a clean, minimal layout with generous white space, the site invites visitors to slow down and engage with her content without distraction. Warm neutral tones, subtle textures, and delicate accents guide the eye while maintaining focus on her words and message. Key sections are thoughtfully organized to provide clarity and ease of navigation. The overall design is both calm and strategic, and it’s built to grow with Christy’s evolving ministry. Her new professional photos, paired with strong headlines and Scripture-driven language, ensure visitors feel both inspired and grounded the moment they arrive. From her book 31 Thirst QuencHER Devotionals to her personal and encouraging blog posts, Christy’s content is now elevated by a layout that reflects the impact of her message.

Erin and Mandy worked together to optimize Christy’s content for the front page that serves as a landing page for all of Christy’s offerings, and an updated About page that gives a quick insight into who Christy is personally while also providing her professional bio for new site visitors. Carrying this methodology over to the book’s sales page, our team reworked the marketing copy for the devotional, featuring the benefits of Christy’s book, and refreshed the shareable graphics for promotions as well. Additionally, the Speaking page was reimagined and reorganized too, keeping all pertinent information easily accessible for event planners. An updated Contact page and blog layout rounded out this new website design perfectly.

The final brand pieces included in the scope of work for this project were a new bio sheet, two custom Canva templates for promotional and shareable graphics, and social media cover images, all on-brand for the new design.

Christy’s new platform is a gentle and meaningful reflection of the ministry she’s built—filled with encouragement, wisdom, and practical ways to grow in faith. Every page is structured to guide her visitors gently, whether they’re reading a devotional, exploring her speaking ministry, or signing up for a resource. We’re so grateful to have helped her bring this next chapter to life.

What Christy had to say…

“How exciting is this!! It all looks so great!! Thank you!!”
