MRM: Creating Connections & Community Workshop

Important Info for the Workshop!

We will provide workshop handouts, coffee and light refreshments, and take-home goodies (swag!) for you.

Be sure to bring something to take notes with (laptop + charger, notebook) and be ready to soak in knowledge and encouragement!

This workshop will be 100% hands-on as we work with you and YOUR goals. Please be sure you have filled out the survey on this page (above) and completed this pre-work worksheet as well. This will help all of us prepare so that we can make the most of our time together!

First and foremost, you can expect the personalized care MRM is known for! Over the course of the workshop, we will pull up a chair beside you as we discuss ways to create deeper connections with your followers, subscribers, and audience—each interaction is a chance to build community! Encouragement and prayer will be abundant, and we want you to leave feeling empowered and supported!

We have intentionally limited each of our in-person workshops this year to 10 attendees only to maintain the “small group” feel and to allow for the personalized attention we have planned.

We are excited to have Melissa Mashburn, Jenn Hand, and Mandy Roberson lead our instruction for the day! Our amazing instructors have years of experience creating and growing communities—online, in real life, and extending across the world.

Melissa Mashburn is a life coach, ministry consultant, and author who specializes in helping female church and ministry leaders renew their gifts, skills, and leadership. Melissa serves as Marketing and Publicity Coordinator (i.e. cheerleader and community builder) with the MRM team.

Jenn Hand is a speaker, author and executive director of Coming Alive Ministries. Jenn has counseled and ministered around the world, sharing biblical wisdom and a little bit of laughter along the way. As a longtime client and friend of MRM, Jenn continues to grow her online community through her podcast, writing, and genuine desire for connection.

Mandy Roberson is our dedicated and incredible CEO here at Market Refined Media, with a heart to equip others to be able to share the message and or rise to the calling God has placed on their hearts. Mandy believes there is no such thing as competition, only community, when we serve a common goal as the body of Christ.

Many of our other team members will be on hand to help with discussion and questions as needed.

We have partnered with the amazing team at The Drawing Room in Ooltewah, Tennessee, for each of our in-person workshops this year. The venue is beautiful, cozy, and inviting – the perfect spot for our time together!

Chattanooga is a great area for a weekend getaway or family trip, so we encourage you to make a weekend of it!
