Hi, I’m Karina. Being a part of the MRM team is an exciting opportunity to combine my skillsets and enthusiasm for a job well done!
Living in Florida my whole life has given me a unique perspective on the world, and I have been able to apply that to my work.
I am an Enneagram 9, which means I am a peacemaker, and I find joy in helping others find common ground.
I enjoy watching movies, going to theme parks, spending time with family and friends, and recently learning to crochet. I love to be creative and express myself in new ways.
Being a jack of all trades is something I’m proud of! As the quote goes, “a jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.”

Her Specialties
I love great design and communication, and I want nothing more than to help MRM clients make their organizations shine. Partnering with churches, non-profits, and other organizations to improve their message is an honor I don’t take lightly. I’ve been fortunate to have a hand in managing websites, crafting content, capturing photographs, and guiding social media strategies for various organizations.

In a nutshell, I’m a jack of all trades, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
I love finding new tools to use on projects, and some of my favorite types of projects to work on are –
- Website management and coaching
- Tech Support Requests
- Content Creation
Her Recent Projects & Experience
I’ve served churches and nonprofits for about eight years and love the work I do.
New to MRM, I’m just diving into the projects and systems, but I’ve been able to complete a website tech support project and am looking forward to working on other projects. Being a part of this team is an exciting opportunity to combine my skillsets and enthusiasm and work alongside other like-minded people to achieve a common goal. Whether it’s through crafting and designing awesome media!
Her Education & Training
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Worship, Music, and Media Ministry, a Google Project Management Professional Certificate from Coursera, and a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida.
I’ve always been passionate about learning and growing, which is why I’ve attended many conferences over the years focused on Marketing and Communications for non-profits. I’ve always enjoyed taking in the latest trends and techniques, and I’m excited to put my knowledge to work!
I’m also currently attending an online conference with ClickUp (project management software), which is just another tool to add to the list!
Some of my mentors include:
I love listening to Andy Stanley’s leadership podcast and the messages he shares at North Point Community Church. His teachings have impacted my professional life and my personal growth. I always look forward to his insights and guidance and try to apply his teachings to my life.
I am incredibly fortunate to have Melissa Mashburn as a mentor and friend; she is an amazing leader and communicator with a wealth of wisdom and cares for my family and me. Her love for Disney adds extra fun when we get together, and I am genuinely grateful for her guidance and friendship.

1. I’m wanting to learn to crochet so am taking online webinars to learn. 🙂
2. I have a goal of reading 23 books this year (with one of every five being non-fictional and job-related).
3. I’m an Enneagram 9. Do with that what you will.
claim to fame
My role as moderator of a 35,000+ member Facebook group for church communication professionals, where I can share my expertise and exchange ideas with like-minded individuals, is so much fun! I’ve gotten the opportunity to meet so many people. I have been featured as a conference speaker at the First Impressions Conference next to extraordinary leaders like Bob Goff, Katie Allred, Jennie Catron, and Carlos Whitaker!
