Lisa Allen is a speaker, a coach and an executive director at Proverbs 31 Ministries. Her passion is to help others have confidence and clarity on who they are in Christ and what He has called them to do.
We had the pleasure of working with Lisa several years ago to update her WordPress website with a design created by a third party designer. This time around though our team was able to work with Lisa to create a new brand design as well as the unique and fun website design that fully showcases the various facets of her personality.
About This Recent Project
It’s always fun to design for a client who has a clear vision for their own personal style, especially when that style is so different from your own. Lisa Allen came to MRM wanting a new logo and website redesign for her speaking and coaching ministry. Lisa and her assistant provided us with a detailed Pinterest board of colors, patterns and other visuals that appealed to her.
Neutral colors, geometric shapes, leopard print and gold accents, large fun photos and a little whimsy thrown in to keep it dynamic. Because we knew we would incorporate more of these elements into the website design, we opted to create simple, professional {yet slightly fun} branding for Lisa that immediately communicates her personality to potential clients starting with her script-based logo.
Building on a foundation of wonderful photos, we warmed up her neutral color palette with pops of muted coral and metallic gold accents. The combination of large photos, solid color blocks, patterned backgrounds and unexpected angles keep the design fresh and interesting. Among all the visual interest, Lisa’s site content is easy to read and follow, giving her visitors clear insight into her services and ministry. This website was so much fun to design and build! We look forward to working with Lisa again!
