I’m Francie: a sometimes-tea-sipper, sometimes-coffee-junkie, a marathon enthusiast and finisher (4:20), and a champion for entrepreneurship collaboration.

I’m passionate about helping small businesses succeed because I grew up as the daughter of an entrepreneur.

I watched my dad wear the many hats of entrepreneurship, including worker bee, marketing manager, janitor, CEO and sales associate.

I hold an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in communication, and specialize in SEO and marketing strategy that gets ROI-focused results. My search engine optimization expertise has helped dozens of businesses connect with their ideal customers and achieve profitable results.

In my downtime, you’ll find me getting lost in a self-help ebook somewhere inside a local coffee shop, jogging through town, and hiking the trails with my husband, daughter, and bulldog, Winston. I’ve “collected” 28 countries in my travels and have my sight set on Thailand next.

Her Specialties

I see my role as looking at opportunities for conversion, whether through improving User Experience, Instagram strategy, or helping tell the story through data and analytics. For one of my largest MRM projects, the Georges (Jim and Elizabeth), I look at their digital presence and offer insight into potential improvements.

In addition to that, I manage the Georges’ Instagram account by posting content, engaging with followers, directing customer service inquiries, managing Link Tree, and researching new hashtags.

One of my more recent responsibilities is managing the content calendar to work with the Georges’ MRM team to plan ahead for marketing messages like emails, promotions, blog content, and social media content.

I get giddy reviewing data and analytics, including those from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Shopify, and Instagram to better understand how to make changes to the website for better conversion.

Each month, I run a low inventory report to help the Georges understand which titles are low in inventory and need to be re-ordered. Then, approximately every quarter, I run a comparison of pricing in Amazon and Shopify to understand where we can increase the profit margins on titles simply by adjusting the price.

I also get to manage SEO projects for other MRM clients.

I’ve created my dream job. I snuggled my babe when she was sick this week because of the flexibility this business allows. I do work I love! I have the BEST clients on Earth and I’m chasing after my dreams. If I could exist on less sleep or find more hours in the day, I would work more because of how much I love what I do.

Her Recent Projects

I have an ongoing project with the Georges which requires me to perform periodic analytics reviews and I’ve been steadily growing their Instagram account following and engagement. In 2020 I’ve assumed the responsibility of all of their Content Planning.

Bet you didn’t know:
1. I was a Division I cheerleader at Ball State University
2. I’m currently striving to finish the “Bible in a Year”
3. I’m a huge believer in the positive impact of gratitude

Her Education & Training

I have a Bachelor’s in Communication and a Master’s in Business Administration, but a lot of what I know and implement has been self-taught. I attended the Impact Summit 2019, Blissdom 2019, and was a speaker at Purdue University, Bradley University, and Peoria’s ‘Business of Art’ Conference.

Some of my mentors include:

  • Neil Patel
  • Jasmine Star
  • Amy Porterfield

Digital Marketing is  constantly evolving. The fact that the Google algorithm changes daily always amazes me. Social media acquisitions, like Facebook owning Instagram, always spurs interesting changes for marketing. Overall, the barriers to entry for starting a business keep getting lower and lower.

While it hasn’t been confirmed, I think I hold the World Record for number of times I’ve listened to “Baby Shark” with my daughter.
